Description
The Taylor Made R9 irons are cast from stainless steel and feature a classic look and shape. They feature the Velocity-Control Chamber (VCC) which provides a higher COR for more distance, and works in unison with a silicone shock absorber and vibration-reducing badge in the cavity for less vibration and great feel. The VCC chamber also wraps around the face of the long irons (through the 6-iron) for an even higher COR. Taylor Made's Inverted Cone Technology is optimized for a 10-percent improved for more consistency in distance control.
