Description
The Taylor Made R9 TP driver features a larger 460cc head with Flight Control Technology (FCT) adjustability for added flight control and up to 40 yards of side-to-side adjustability. With FCT, the player may adjust the face angle, the lie angle and effective loft by simple shaft/head adjustments with 8 different clubhead positions to choose from. Its larger head and lower, deeper center of gravity provides more forgiveness as well as a higher launch angle and increased draw bias. It also features Taylor Made's Inverted Cone Technology which promotes faster ball speeds across the entire face for faster ball speeds and more distance. Its New Classic head shape combines classic and modern lines to create an aesthetically pleasing look from address.

All clubs in Good Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Good Condition: Moderate face and sole wear; sky-marks, paint chips, and scratches on the crown; minor dinging around the edges of the head; shaft wear.

I bought this driver to replace a draw driver that I had. It has a great balanced feel and swings very smooth. The best part is the flight control which alows you to adjust the club face. This way you can adjust the driver to fix problems like hooks or slices but also as your swing progresses adjust it back to neutral. The 460 head has a good sweet spot so even off center hits go well. It is good for game improvement as well as the low handicapper.

I hit my friends R9 460 during a round and I was on the computer ordering one from global golf that night. Flight Control Technology adjustments take seconds. Tremendous forgiveness. Spin rate extremely low for players with high swing speeds. Once I had the right shaft dialed in (Aldila RIP 70 X), the driver has not left the bag. Just a little side note, R9 shafts can also be played in the new R11 driver.
