The Nike SQ Sumo Squared fairway wood features a square geometry that allows the weight to be distributed to the corners of the club, providing forgiving, straight shots from almost any lie. The low and deep center of gravity, provided by the PowerBow design, creates a large sweet spot and allows the ball to launch higher and easier, making those tight par-4s much easier.

Easy to hit very high |

I purchased the Sumo 2 square 3 wood and played 2 rounds with it. Due to the shape and relatively large face, it is very easy to hit (off the tee or deck). One negative is that the ball flight is very high, even though it was a 15 degree, it played more like a 19 degree. Tee shots had a much higher trajectory than my previous 3 woods (Callaway and Taylormade). Overall, it is definitely a game improvement club but those who wish for a more penetrating ball flight, one should look elsewhere
