If price is no object, I'll spend $4 a ball on the Pro V1x and be a happy camper. But price is an object. I've played most of the competitors urethane covered balls and only a couple track well in the wind, have good distance and play well around the green. The Callaway Hex Black and the Wilson FG Tour X. The Wilson at it's current price around $25 is hoard worthy. It's as long or longer than the Titleist, although the Titleist is a little softer around the green and easier to stop. But for my game, the Wilson gives the best performance/price ratio available.
If you have the swing speed to compress it, you'll love it.
Need to try these fg tour x it is a great golf ball. I'm 64 and have 92 mph swing speed and it's no problem to get this ball going, It stops like it hit a wall with your irons and putts great. and these guys have a great price . Just a little more money than a two piece ball and will stop on the green.
